The long awaited 2024-2025 marching band season is finally here! With great anticipation for the new season, and great sadness for the graduating seniors, the new leadership selection process has begun. The 2023-2024 seasons drum majors Riley McGrail and Jenna Shelley are both moving on as Hillcrest High School Graduates- so there is an entirely new drum major team for the new season. Drum major is an exceedingly important and highly held position, as the drum majors are the head of student leadership, conduct the band, and lead them in competition.  

For the first time ever, Hillcrest’s band has grown to need three drum majors. With great honor, the Hillcrest Red and Black Brigade presents Ben Lynes (rising 12th, four yrs marching), Ellie Miles (rising 11th, three yrs marching) and Chloe Thorne (rising 10th, three yrs marching) as the 2024-2025 drum majors. These three have been and will continue to be great inspirations to those around them and are thrilled to be serving together this season. The Red and Black Brigade have much to anticipate as they continue through their journey of growth and accomplishment.
