Hillcrest Marching Band Fundraiser

Your fellow rams in the Hillcrest Marching Band are doing a fundraiser that ends this friday! Your fellow rams would love your guardian or loved ones’ support. Anyone who donates onto the MoneyDolly app must be 18 years or older for legal reasons. But aside from that you might be asking, why does the Hillcrest Marching Band need money?

Well, for our upcoming Marching season we want to go all out and really show what Hillcrest is made of, and to do that we need money. The school district only gives us $6,000 for our band. With only $6,000 we could buy one sousaphone (a marching tuba) and that’s mostly it. Now if you really think about what goes into a marching band you realize that $6,000 is just not going to cover it.

We need money for transportation, food, uniforms, props, music, instruments, instrument repairs, and so much more.

Our goal is to reach $17,000, though we might not reach that goal by tomorrow through the last 10 days this fundraiser has gone on. We have raised almost $13,000.

Some students actually from the Hillcrest Marching band along with their parents helped to raise money by doing a bake sale. We sold all kinds of goods including cakes, cupcakes, blueberry muffins, cookies, cakepops, and so much more. Those students raised $350 dollars just from that bake sale alone!

So with your help you can truly make a difference, we would appreciate any and all donations!
