Halloween and Thanksgiving: Both are fall holidays, but which one is better? The right choice is Halloween. Halloween is more popular than Thanksgiving for a reason. Halloween is an entertaining holiday for all ages, while Thanksgiving is usually only fun for adults. You can dress up in unique costumes, go trick or treating, hand out candy, and spend time with friends. Halloween typically has more interesting decorations than Thanksgiving does; Bats, skeletons, and carved pumpkins are more entertaining than average pumpkins and squash. Thanksgiving is a holiday mostly confined to the U.S., however, Halloween is more broadly celebrated. Overall, Halloween is a superior holiday to Thanksgiving.
