On October third, the fast food corporation Mcdonald’s released adult happy meals. If you purchase an adult happy meal you have a choice of a ten-piece chicken nugget meal, or the infamous Big Mac along with fries, a medium-sized soda, and a collectible adult toy all for the price of $10.79. Adult happy meals have become a very popular commodity, and are sold out at many locations within Greenville. Some suspect that the appeal of the meal comes from the nostalgic inclusion of the toys which were featured in early Mcdonald’s promotion campaigns.  Not only are the toys nostalgic, but many used to eat from the original happy meal box as kids, so offering adult-sized portions is a well-thought-out sales tactic from Mcdonald’s.
