Authentique French Creperie is an authentic French breakfast place located in downtown Simpsonville. When you walk into Authentique, you are welcomed into an inviting atmosphere with polite staff, and cute, vintage decorations. The creperie has a traditional French menu that varies from sweet to savory crepes, and has an all encompassing kids menu. A favorite is the La Nutella Banane et fraise which is a sweet crepe with bananas, strawberries, chantilly cream, and nutella. It is recommended to order the peppermint hot chocolate; you will never be able to drink packet hot chocolate again. The owners are French, and create a very authentic atmosphere, even more so with the recently added outdoor seating. The creperie is only open on Thursday through Sunday from 9:30 am until 2:00 pm. The staff are extremely accommodating, and try their best to make your experience as enjoyable as possible. The only con of Authentique is that the seating area is pretty small, but that only creates a more cozy environment. Authentique is a great place to go for breakfast or brunch with family or friends, and it’s highly recommended that you go and try it out! Bon appétit merci!
