As graduation season approaches, our seniors are reflecting on their experiences as freshmen. Many have learned the ins and outs of Hillcrest and are eager to share their insights with the incoming freshmen for the next school year. When asked, “What advice would you give to next year’s freshmen?” many seniors advised staying true to oneself and avoiding the pressure to fit into the crowd. Kylie Brigham, a twelfth grader, emphasized that you’ll enjoy your high school experience even more if you meet new people who share your interests. Most of the seniors interviewed agreed that high school can be challenging without a supportive group of friends, so it’s essential to find “your people.”
