When was the last time you looked out into a forest, saw all the trees and imagined what it would be like to roam through the mist? Well the latest news tells us that maybe some wild beasts do that just on a daily basis. A police officer in Newberry county, South Carolina, has recently caught a sighting in the flesh. The officer on November 6th was going hunting when he noticed a loud roar, which he initially assumed to be a bear. However, when he turned around, the officer recalls seeing a huge 7-and-a-half-foot creature lurking behind him.
The witness has made a statement as a police officer saying he was embarassed to admit but he was sure it was some kind of Bigfoot creature. Some kids at Hillcrest tend to think likewise, and otherwise, when it comes to the existence of this creature.
Lila Huevalink, an 11th grader here at Hillcrest, gave some key information saying, “Yes! Bigfoot is definitely real, and honestly I’m kind of jealous of him roaming around chilling in the forest.” If you really think about it, Bigfoot could be really chill!
Nick Fann, a 10th grader here at Hillcrest, strongly disagrees with the existence of Bigfoot. Nick gave A statement in an interview stating, “Bigfoot is not real, he’s just a guy in a costume,” which definitely is not a horrible conclusion. Throughout the interview Nick even compared Bigfoot to Bernie Sanders, saying he’s just not real.
At the end of the day, whether Bigfoot is real or not, we never know what’s really lurking in the forest, even in our own backyards.
