Did you get a Bible Monday Morning? Are you wondering why? Hillcrest FCA gave Bibles to any student who wanted one on Monday, November 18. FCA stands for Fellowship of Christian Athletes and is a club for anybody and everybody. They meet to help students learn and grow closer to Jesus. Logan Moore, 11th, is one of the leaders within the club. When interviewed on Monday, he shared “We gave out Bibles because we know not everyone in the school has one or has a relationship with Jesus, so we took action to make sure students at Hillcrest were given the chance to know God.” He also shared, “This idea came from a friend of mine, which influenced us as a club to go through with the plan and make sure we could get it done.” When told about how many students were wondering who organized this, he commented, “Everything was student-led and planned by several students who attend Hillcrest.” If you’re interested in joining FCA, they meet every Thursday at 7:45 am!
