Tyler the Creator is a musician, fashion icon, and continually pushes boundaries of today’s norms in society. Tyler’s discography consists of six studio albums, one extended play, one mixtape, and twenty-three singles, including his upcoming album, Chromakopia.
Fans speculate that this new album is loosely based on Chroma the Great in the book, The Phantom Tollbooth, by Norton Juster. The job of Chroma is to conduct the orchestra that colors the world around him, without him the world would have no color at all.
Along with the new album announcement, Tyler also excited fans with the announcement of a world tour kicking off in St. Paul, Minnesota in February, and making stops across North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand.
Rampage asked Dante Daniels, a junior, her thoughts on the upcoming album. She stated, “I’m excited, it’s something new, it really reminds me of my favorite album Cherry Bomb. Tyler is really unique and strays from all the stereotypes of the music industry to create masterpieces.”
