The Famous and thrilling movie ‘Whiplash’ is making its way back into theaters nationwide for their 10th anniversary on September 20th. Whiplash is about a young jazz drummer that is trying to rise to the top of his music conservatory. A music instructor at his elite conservatory that is known for his terrifying teaching methods discovers this young jazz drummer and transfers him over to his class, which is the top jazz ensemble in the nation. Though the problem arises when this young drummer’s passion for perfection starts to turn into an obsession for perfection. And his teacher does nothing but pushes him to the brink of his musical ability and his mental sanity. Many people highly recommend and love this movie. For example, a freshman here at Hillcrest High School by the name of Quinn Hawkes is especially excited for this movie’s re-release, he states, “This is my all time favorite movie and I’ll do anything to see it again!”
