Back in May 2022, Descendants 4 was confirmed to be in the works, but there is still no set release date for the film. However, many people are still waiting for its release. As a Disney property, Descendants 4 will premiere on Disney+ and will not be available on other streaming until later dates. The name is Descendants: The Rise of Red and will be directed by Jennifer Phang from a screenplay of Dan Frey and Russell Sommer.
