On Tuesday, Hillcrest Student Council revealed that our students raised $83,790 for Spirit Week this year! The money raised this year will go to Hope Vision School, an organization that is building a school for children in Haiti.
Spirit week was a massive success this year, with hundreds of students attending the pep rallies each day. Some fan favorites this year were the teacher vs. student basketball game and Family Feud. Students gathered at lunch for Chic-Fil-A, pizza, and Zaxby’s while Hillcrest parents attended profit shares at local restaurants. Student Council also raised money through doughnut sales, wristbands, senior servants, and the annual silent auction.
Through the hard work of Hillcrest’s Student Council, devoted staff, and incredible students, our school was able to raise an incredibly large amount of money to support the education of young children in Haiti this Spirit Week!
