Spirit Week has just been kicked off at Hillcrest and it looks to be another exciting week! We interviewed students on their thoughts for this year and many people are getting pretty excited. Kennedy Grella states, ” You can’t live a full life on an empty stomach! Eat up during Spirit Week” So many fun things are planned for everyone to do including, AM and PM pep rallies, theme days, a silent auction, and after-school activities that help support the Hope Vision School of Haiti.
Through Hope Vision School, children have the opportunity to be educated in a safe environment. Their goal is to uplift, enrich, and ignite the flames of possibility for every student who walks through their school’s doors. Spirit Week is a great time to dress up, give money, and participate in things after school for this great cause. Each day has a fun theme to dress up as and take pictures with your friends and teachers. Friday is already being Rapper Vs. Rodeo, Monday being Night in Vs. Night out, Tuesday being Spotify day, Wednesday being USA day, Thursday being Neon Day, and Friday being Spirit week shirt day.
Candance Gaines said it best, ” Get hype for Spirit Week!” Not only does spirit weeks make students feel more involved and develop school pride, it also brings everyone pride in their academic journey and accomplishments. Be sure to spread all of our ram pride across social media to help show and welcome people from all over Simpsonville to come and support us in any way possible to help raise money.
