Stadium goers described the horrific accident, detailing alarming amounts of blood and the devastation that spread throughout the crowd. Johnson’s death was later confirmed through the team’s social media, and he was buried in his hometown of Hibbing, MN by his fiancée, family, and friends on November 5th. Fans and family alike continue to mourn the young athlete’s sudden death as the police investigate the incident.
