A nearly two-hundred-year-old tree located at Hadrian’s Wall in Northumberland, England was cut down by a sixteen-year-old on. The tree was featured in Kevin Reynolds’s movie, “Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. “ The sixteen-year-old boy was arrested first, then a sixty-year-old man was arrested for cutting down the tree. It appears they used a chainsaw to cut down the tree. The loss of the tree is a sad moment for the people of England, it serves as an icon and even won the award, English Tree of the Year 2016. The people of Northern England are angry and sad at the loss of the famous tree. A tree that was known as Robinhood’s tree to many people. The sixteen-year-old boy and the sixty-year-old man are cooperating with the police. Hopefully, in the future acts like this will be cut to the minimum.
