On Friday a fellow reporter and I went to our local Starbucks to test out the brand new seasonal fall drinks, which are the Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte and the Apple Crisp Oat Milk Shaken Espresso. We had interesting thoughts on the drinks. 

I tested out the Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte, and oh boy was it an… experience. The moment I took a sip I knew I had made a mistake in ordering the drink. The contrast between chai and pumpkin spice was too much for me. The drink was sickly sweet, while somehow also being bitter and spicy at the same time. There’s no good way to explain it. If you want to try it yourself for an accurate suggestion, go right ahead, but I do NOT recommend it. 

HOWEVER, the Starbucks employees at the local Starbucks were phenomenal. My friend and I learned that we could ask them to replace our drinks for something we preferred, and they honored our request. I highly recommend Starbucks, but NOT their new fall drink.
