Recently, Taylor Swift has been seen cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs player, Travis Kelce, at his games. To many, this potential, blooming romance seems unexpected, but Kelce has reportedly been trying to make a move for months. On July 8, Kelce attended Swift’s Eras Tour concert in Kansas City, making that the first public connection between the two. During an episode of his podcast that aired July 26, Kelce reveals that during the tour he had made a bracelet with his phone number on it, intending to shoot his shot, but the ball fell short and Taylor Swift did not get the memo. By then, fans had picked up the possibility of a romance and began obsessing over it. A little more then a month later, on September 24, Kelce is asked about Swift during an interview. However, he remains very tight-lipped and does not comment on the topic other than to shut it down. Just a mere three days later, during a game an NFL announcer repeatedly  slipped in Taylor Swift’s lyrics in regards to Travis Kelce. After the game, Kelce responded via Instagram, “well played.” On September 21, Kelce aired on a talk show where he revealed that he invited Swift to watch him play, stating, “I threw the ball in her court.” However, on September 24, Swift shocked fans of both when she spent the day cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs player alongside his mom, Donna Kelce. Later that night, Kelce and Swift were spotted by fans riding off in his convertible. This is when the media truly picked up the potential romance. On October 1, Swift attended her second football date, this time in her territory since the Chiefs were playing the New York Jets. Swift was spotted in the stands alongside other famous friends, including Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds. NFL later tweeted to Taylor, “Welcome to New York, it’s been waiting for you.” This concludes the current timeline of the trending relationship between Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. Although some fans believe the whole relationship is fake and a ploy for attention, you might as well enjoy it anyways.
