Thanksgiving > Halloween

Thanksgiving+%3E+Halloween

There is a lot of heavy debate on whether Halloween is better than Christmas. However, a lesser-discussed topic needs to be recognized- is Halloween better than Thanksgiving? 

The simple answer is no. Though popular belief suggests so, popular belief is wrong. 

Thanksgiving is the time of year when you get to see all of your favorite aunts, uncles, and cousins. Even better, you get to eat a bunch of delicious food. There are so many variations of a Thanksgiving dinner and there’s always something for everyone.

On Halloween, kids dress up and get pounds of candy that they will eat nonstop for a few days and then the rest will go to waste. However, at Thanksgiving, all of the food is gobbled up. Everyone is sent into a blissful food coma while they count the things they are thankful for.

Thanksgiving is better than Halloween because there is less waste and you get to hang out with your family members. You also don’t waste calories on food that won’t fill you up.
