Tom Brady Wants to Become a Comedian!?

Camille Jenkins, Staff Reporter

Thomas Edward Patrick Brady Jr. (Tom Brady) is a newly retired quarterback for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and breaks the record for being the oldest football player in NFL history. He had a fruitful career in football and is regarded as one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time. So, what makes him want to start a career in comedy all of a sudden? In the movie “80 for Brady”, based on a true story where four elderly women travel to the Superbowl to see Tom Brady, he has many cameos in the film, and fans of his enjoyed his performance. According to Radar, an insider says that after his performance, his “ego inflated” when cast members of the movie complimented him. Another insider from Radar says he does an OK job in scripted roles, but he will be “playing in a whole different league” if he does stand-up comedy.

Although much of his inner circle doesn’t believe in Brady’s potential comedy career, I think he should jump head-first into his newfound dreams. With all that money, he should be able to follow his heart wherever it may lead, and it’s also better than sitting at home all day with nothing to do after retirement.
