CocoBon’s Simpsonville location

“The passion of chocolate”: A statement that proves to be true at CocoBon Chocolatier. Their love for homemade delicacies is poured into each individual piece of chocolate. When you go into the store, you can find truffles, single pieces or bars of chocolate, and snacks galore. They sell popcorn, pretzels, lollipops, and more, all covered in their signature chocolates.

CocoBon’s founder, David Saidat (Chef Dave), created the shop in 2002 when his favorite chocolatier from Chicago went out of business. His first location was in Anderson in late 2015, later bringing his love and passion to Simpsonville. He adds a vintage ambience to his stores, allowing customers to travel back in time when they step through the door.

I was able to try their Choco-Rocks, a dark chocolate lollipop, and a chocolate covered Twinkie. All of these tasted great and helped to show their unique options. During the Christmas season, they offered homemade hot cocoa which was rich and tasted amazing. This February, they will offer chocolate-dipped strawberries and heart-shaped boxes of chocolate for Valentines Day.
