Baffling Bunny; a Talking Dog

The fantasy of talking dogs may just be becoming a reality. TikTok has been taken by storm in the form of a judgemental canine. While Bunny the dog can’t speak verbally, she does use a soundboard to convey her thoughts and concerns. Each button is associated with a specific word or phrase. The buttons can exclaim words as simple as “Food” and “Outside” or more complex thoughts like “Different” and “How”. Bunny’s ability to form complex sentences was breathtaking to her owner, who Bunny refers to as Mom. The owner began to share Bunny with the online world through TikTok and other social media platforms. As Bunny gained millions of views and followers, her thought process began to change. She began asking difficult, somewhat philosophical questions, like, “Why [is] Bunny [a] dog?”. While the owner tried to remain positive about the situation, it became apparent that there was a problem after having to explain the concept of death to a dog. Sadly, Bunny became sluggish and somewhat depressed. In response, the owner started Bunny on medication that combatted her symptoms. Now Bunny is back to her usual self and shows extreme interest in her new dog brother, asking dozens of questions about him.
