The NFL decided to cancel the Bengals vs Bills game, the reason behind the choice being Damar Hamlin’s cardiac arrest during the game after getting hit in the head by Tee Higgins. Damar got up to play again and one of his teammates noticed that he was not walking straight or getting in the right position to play. When his teammate told them to stop before they started playing again Damar passed out and he went into a cardiac arrest for 9 minutes as they did CPR. Damar was then sent to the hospital were he spent more then 9 days at. Once Damar was sent to the hospital the game was then cancelled. The foundation that Damar had started for raising money for kids in his hometown for getting new toys passed the original $2,500 goal, reaching over $10 million. Tee Higgins has now received numerous amounts of death threats saying that he killed Damar. Damar has now made great progress towards recovering.
