Avatar: The Way of Water is the second film in James Cameron’s expanding Avatar universe. This movie focuses on the new members of Jake Sully and Neytiri’s family and their dynamics. When a former threat resurfaces, the family is forced to leave their home and explore the different environments of Pandora while simultaneously fighting a difficult and gruesome war. The plot, characters, and chemistry between the actors make the three hours of the movie fly right by. The visual effects are phenomenal, and it is easily the best movie I have seen in 3D.  Although the beginning felt a little dragged out, the plot quickly picks up and the characters make the long start enjoyable. With the first Avatar being the highest grossing film, I can see this film effortlessly bypassing it and taking its number one standing. Avatar: The Way of Water is an amazingly beautiful cinematic experience, with a deeply important message embedded within it that you will not want to forgo experiencing.
