Santa Claus at Simpsonville’s 2022 Christmas Parade

The holiday spirit was marching down Main Street last Sunday as Simpsonville saw their community come together, both on the sidewalk and the surrounding areas. Brought to us by Weichert, Realtors – Shaun and Shari Group, this year’s theme was labeled “Sounds of the Season” as floats would be mostly decorated around a specific song. Some floats included Hillcrest’s own football team and marching band, “Miss Hilltopper” Marae Lewis, Food Lion, the Girl Scouts, the Italian American Club, and Simpsonville’s Mayor. Many other businesses had their floats present, check the RamPage’s Instagram page for more pictures.

Like how any good Christmas parade ends, Santa Claus was at the end ready to make the children excited. Some gave out candy, while others were more Grinchy in their approach. There were at least ten different Grinches attending the parade, all of which stood out easily.

Many businesses were open during the event, some offering discounts to promote their stores in sight of the potential new customers. It truly was a magical sight as friends and families put aside their differences and huddled together to enjoy the wheeled attractions that followed that cloudy afternoon.
