We all know Tim Allen as the beloved Santa Clause from The Santa Clause 1, 2 and 3. The movies are known far and wide for being a favorite among the Christmas films. Will The Santa Clauses compete with the beloved Christmas movies? Unfortunately, I think not. I believe that both episodes of this new series are lacking the Tim Allen flavor. As we know, all actors and actresses are getting older from the time they played there original roles and that may be playing some part in the fail of this new series. However, I must say the costumes along with the actors were a downgrade from the original three movies. The screen writers didn’t even have Tim Allen grow out his own beard. Visually, the beard looked like plastic and was unappealing. In my opinion, there was a lot of bad acting coming from both the younger and older actors, which was highly disappointing in the new series. It seemed as though this was thrown together at the last minute based on cinematic detailing that I noticed throughout, and I must say, I am overcome with disappointment seeing as Tim Allen is a wonderful actor. Unfortunately, he and his fellow co-stars did not fit the part this time.
