In Greenville, South Carolina there are four major sub-sandwich chains: Jimmy Johns, Firehouse Subs, Subway, and Jersey Mike’s. Jersey Mike’s was founded in Point Pleasant, New Jersey in the year of 1946 by Peter Cancro. The sub shop is famous for slicing its meat fresh in front of the customers and its store baked bread. The counter set up is similar to Subway’s as it has a customizable station, and your sandwich is put together in front of you. There are three sizes at Jersey Mike’s along with twelve hot subs and fourteen cold subs. Price wise, Jersey Mike’s is not your cheapest option, but the price fits the quality. Overall Jersey Mike’s would not be my first choice in a sub, but if it was the only place around I would not complain
