The 96th Oscars were held on Sunday March 10, 2024 with many great actors and actresses in the audience. One memorable moment was the performance held by Ryan Gosling with the nominated song “I’m just Ken.” Gosling was on stage in a custom pink Gucci suit that paid homage to Marilyn Monroe’s “Diamonds Are a Girl’s Best Friend” from “Gentlemen Prefer Blondes.” Many weeks of planning went into the production and Gosling was extremely involved in the process of bringing “I’m Just Ken” to life. Many celebrities have posted about the performance, saying that  “I’m just Ken” won the Oscars without actually winning an Oscar. Many surprise appearances made the night even more special with, Wolfgang Van Halen, Slash, and “Cameo Kens”  performing onstage onstage during the final crescendo of the song.  Actors from the Oscar nominated “Barbie”  including Simu Liu, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Ncuti Gatwa and Scott Evans, would be added to the team a few days before the final performance.
